How the solvair cleaning process works
The cleaning process is
conceptually similar to
home washing, garments
are placed in a machine in
wheel that spins.The same
machine is used for
cleaning and drying.
Clothes are cleaned
with an effective and
biodegradable cleaning
liquid which is continually
purified and reused.
After cleaning, garments
are dried in the now
pressurized machine.
A major enefit of the
process is that drying is
performed without heat
Instead, garments are
gently bathed in a
succession of cool rinses
with liquid CO2 which
removes the remaining
cleaning liquid.
The pressure is then
reduced until the CO2
converts from a liquid to
gas, completely drying
the garments in a process
that is gentler and more
efficient than heat drying.

Our special ON-SITE process not only cleans but disinfects parasites like dust might from mattresses and upholsteries. A typical used mattress may have anywhere from 100,000 to 10 million dust mites inside. (Ten percent of the weight of a two year old pillow can be composed of dead mites and their droppings.) Mites prefer warm, moist surroundings such as the inside of a mattress when someone is on it. A favorite food is dander (both human and animal skin flakes). About 80 percent of the material seen floating in a sunbeam is actually skin flakes. Also, bedroom carpeting and household upholstery support high mite populations.
